TEHRAN – Arash Mirahmadi, a comedian and television actor, passed away in a Tehran hospital on Tuesday after months of battling with cancer. He was 52.

Mirahmadi had been struggling with pancreatic cancer and was admitted to the hospital due to a liver problem. He was receiving specialized care and undergoing chemotherapy sessions to treat his illness, but his jaundice levels remained alarmingly high, ISNA reported on Wednesday.

Although he was discharged earlier this week after showing signs of improvement, he was readmitted to the hospital shortly afterward. Later, Mirahmadi slipped into a coma and passed away.
